Re: Metasynth

per
metasynth operates at a different level than most other
"sound apps" out there. i've been using it for years, and
i love what it can do, but it is definitely NOT a live audio
tool. what it is great for is extreme sound design, gorgeous
sound manipulation, and a user interface paradigm of a
decidedly different bent. i generally use it to create sounds
that i can then layer in ableton live (or similar app) to mix
with my live processing/instrument input.
metasynth can lead you down some interesting roads...
take a map...
cheers
