I saw Todd Rundgren doing some schtick while working for Phillips promoting some game system (that failed) and on his TR-I show he had a pretty cool electronic gazebo that allowed him to give control of various elements to the audience... with both good and disasterous results. The moral of the story for me was that having interaction in your music is great... but know your partners and choose them wisely.
