They already did--it's called a Mac Mini.  

Of course, if you want to be able to access what amounts to project
studio worth of functionality, you need a keyboard, monitor and mouse,
but c'est la vie.  The iron triangle of cost/size/ease-of-use is sort
of...iron-clad.
