GIBSON EDPs end of the road?

I don't know if this is apocalyptic but
the Gibson EDP has been listed in the Clearance section of
the latest Musicians Friend online catalogue reduced from
the list price of $1,300 to $806.65 (down from their normal discounted 
price 
of $950).

Kim?  Matthias?   anybody know whether this signals the end of production 
for the unit?

I surely hope not.  I"ve fallen in love with this amazing instrument and 
the 
musicians who use
it so creatively.
