Ok, I see. So he didn't stand playing with the piano behind his back  
then, or played lying on the top of a grand piano? ;-)  Zawinul plays  
very nice IMHO. His "message" is not about "the instrument" but about  
the sound he brings out of it. It's definitely a good practice to  
stop playing for a while - once in a while. Or change instrument. Or  
style... etc. You will always be the last one to get bored whenever  
stuck in old habits  ;-))
