I bought that notebook for $1700, and that was over two years ago. I also
use it for all my personal computing needs...email, graphics, website
building, serving the web, documents, etc...so I get my money's worth.
That's not bad:  stereo looping with Mobius, and a few basic effects. With
that scenario, I wouldn't be able to justify buying two EDPs, and a
rackmount unit that had chorus, reverb, and delay. We're already talking
over $2000 there.  But that's just one scenario, not the one I'm using to
perform now. Maybe if I decide to go back to just basic-tone acoustic 
guitar
looping, I'll go to that system. I'm still trying to convince myself to do
that, but I'm a sucker for cool VST effects...like Cycling 74 Hipno, which

MUST have now, thanks to Rick! . :)
