Good point. That is sort of misleading of them, eh? It could mean that I sold 100 CDs from CD Baby and 1 at eBuzz, even though eBuzz gave me a higher percentage of that single sale.....meaning that all things being equal (number of sales), you would make more money from eBuzz. And given that most of your CD sales on these two sites is going to result from your own hard work, eBuzz could be the better bet in the long run. I used the Orchard for my first solo CD, who distributed to Amazon, and a whole bunch of other retailers (like Sam Goody, Tower Records, etc), and many digital music places. The Orchard also got me on All Music Guide, which CD Baby hasn't done yet. I wish they would, then the rest of my dicography would show up on AMG. I'd like to see if CD Baby can do this. I'll send a note to them now. Maybe others can do the same? Maybe if more people send the request, they might be able to do something.
