Kris is right, Google News Alerts and Google Analytics are
great tools, even if they are still in beta ;)

Since it looks like they've suspended adding any new
Analytics accounts again, do yourself a favor and check
back and sign up.  Once you set up your account and paste a
few lines of basic HTML into your homepage, you'll be able
to track gobs of (aggregate) info on who sees your site,
from where, when, how they got there, what browser/platform
they used, and all sorts of advanced goodies that I haven't
even looked into yet, myself.
