........and the next line of the song was  " i'm stuck in folsom prison....".....there were consequences for his actions.  listen to n.w.a. and see if there is any remorse or contrition.  does there need to be either to make it art?  no, but with many of these acts it is the endless droning of violence, misogyny, homophobia, etc. that a/ has a tremendously negative effect on anyone listening to it, let alone children, and b/ makes it less artistic.

no, i'm not always a grumpy 40 something white boy when it comes to music.....i own albums by arrested development and public enemy.
