He's admittedly not much experienced with looping, but he is an excellent rock guitar player. He does all that sweep picking stuff really well and was obviously capable of all the shredding stuff, but thankfully kept that very restrained while I was there. His name sounded familiar to me, so I googled him and remembered. In the late 80's, his picture was on the back of all the guitar mags. He endorsed something called the "axsak", which was some sort of protective sock for a guitar. I never understood why anybody would want one of those, or why some guy I never heard of was endorsing it. I was really glad to finally meet that guy! BTW, after several years of exile the guitar shredders have crept back into NAMM. A very grim turn of events. How come nobody pulled the feeding tube when we had the chance? There were a lot less bass shredders though. It is hard to say which is worse. kim ______________________________________________________________________ Kim Flint | Looper's Delight kflint@loopers-delight.com | http://www.loopers-delight.com
