Michael:  Another possible source is Gamelan Pacifica, a group of 
performers 
and enthusiasts associated with the Cornish Institute, a fine art college 
here in Seattle.  They undoubtably have recordings of their orchestral 
works.  I suggest you approach them about authorization to use samples in 
exchange for appropriate credit on your CDs and performances.  Let me know 
if you need assistance in tracking them down. - CW
