I've only ever owned one module (currently for sale on ebay) - the MS-4 
Midi 
switcher, but  I do know of a guitarist  who uses a couple of mini-mixers 
in 
his rig, and he swears by them...  Not many people know about the Nobels 
boxes, which surprises me when you consider what you can do with them!
