Normally you plug an analog volume pedal into the rear "feedback"   
jack of the EDP. A "blind plug" is when human loopers abuse that   
jack by filling it up with a plug that doesn't have a chord that  
leads anywhere. For the EDP this is a true "blind date" because it  
still believes there is a Voume Pedal waiting at the opposite end. A  
misbelief that makes EDP offer the user all kind of useful  
alternative modes to loop in.
