The UK (and most, if not all, of Europe) is on 220 - 240V AC at 50Hz. Transformers for US voltage/frequency gear are pretty readily available in shops like Maplins if you want a generic solution rather than manufacturers replacement wall warts. I'm running an S-550 sampler and a JV-880 synthesiser off these types of units - they can be quite acoustically buzzy but fine apart from that. If you buy one unit per plug it's quite expensive - slightly larger units that can power several bits of equipment at once are probably a better bet if you've got two or three items that need conversion.
