What you get is the electro-magnetic fields of the electric motor in the vibrator interacting with magnetic pickup of the guitar. In other words, you hear the sound of the motor. It doesn't vibrate the string like an ebow. The pitch will be the speed of the motor. Therefore, you will likely find a variable speed vibrator is a good option. I don't know if the size matters. kim ______________________________________________________________________ Kim Flint | Looper's Delight kflint@loopers-delight.com | http://www.loopers-delight.com
