I'd go with XP Pro. It's a bit more stable in my opinion. I have Pro on
my new notebook, and Home on my older notebook.

Here's yet another question...

Windows XP Home, Media Center or Pro?  There's quite a
bit of price difference but I wonder if it will effect
me in any way.
