OFF T: musical environmentalism; ON T: stage "neatness"

I'm an urban dwelling, bicycle riding, renewable energy user but I still have guilt. Luckily there is this:

One could perversely argue that it's very environmentally conscious to be a traveling musician....because I travel so much, my sweetie and I don't have any energy guzzling North American children! (but maybe if we do, we should take the Brangelina phenom a step farther and actually raise them in Namibia) ;-)

Ok, sorry Loopers ...

I saw Travis Hartnett last night and he was very good.

I enjoyed ogling his setup (sorry if I made you nervous Travis!) and it occurred to me that every looper I know is so "neat" on stage. Must go with the territory I guess. I know I'm fanatical about having everything perfectly rack mounted, and as "plug n play" as possible. Maybe the next Loopstock should have a perfect-stage-setup symposium?

A way avoid this stress is thinking about the ecologic impact of one of this music trip for the earth and the other species sharing this space with us.. Then you may think that playing around the world cause so much pollution that it's not worth doing this...

You will have more time then for your family and local gigs..
