Mark the edp is sequenced by a clavia G2 (any sequencer will do) in wich I created the following pattern relating to 4 loops (moreloop:4) 4 plain hunt sequence : 1 2 3 4 ------- 2 1 4 3 2 4 1 3 4 2 3 1 4 3 2 1 3 4 1 2 3 1 4 2 1 3 2 4 1 2 3 4 the loops are switched by the sequencer and the music snippets reordered as you play along add to this: half/full speed and forward/reverse switching 1 clean, 2 half, 3 reverse, 4 half reverse. the panning is provided by the G2: the EDP audio out goes into the G2 where the panning occurs 1=L, 2=20%, 3=-20%, 4=R the icing of the cake is a dynamic feedback regulator wich lowers the feedback according to the input volume (G2 also) the feedback regulator avoids the loop beeing too full after a while and dynamic replace ala vortex. this must help have fun Claude PS: there is no video of all that :=) ----- Original Message ----- From: "markfrancombe.com" <mark@markfrancombe.com> To: <Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com> Sent: Monday, August 14, 2006 12:48 AM Subject: Question to Claude (Was EDP ignorance) Claude Im facinated, can you explain the exact way you "sequence the edp) I myself have been doing something like this. Using a drummachine, that sends midi notes I program sequences of "virtual button presses" so I can do things like undo super fast (filling a pattern with undo commands) I then fill up a log loop with many cycles as poss, THEN loop devide back down and do the windowing thing... Ive also use the drummachine to chain other stuff like the half speed and also quite complex ones where I grab a new loop at the begining of the pattern, mult insert, reverse and.... snippity chop... Is this what you mean? or what... ? panned? are you using 2 EDPs?
