That right...I'm basically all laptop now for the guitar. I still have the option of using my Boss VF-1 as a preamp and "tone mangler" before going into my soundcard, but it's not essential to my setup. Rune, what is it that you'd like to know? I run both my PRS hollow-body guitar and Taylor nylon string through my laptop system. I run my mic through the system too for vocal looping on accasion. There are some VST effects that I use to help condition the tone of my guitar as well, so that is is warmer.
