Also I should note that this "gap" I'm referring to is the same "skipped playback" glitch as heard in record->playback mode (the first time through playing back the phrase), just considerably longer in record-overdub mode. Not a time alignment/sync issue. See the manual for info on how to change the mode, and try it yourself. This is not a matter of patch/phrase/midi sync, quantize, or rhythm guide settings as I have all of those turned off to begin with. Again, the longer gap occurs only in the record->overdub mode. Just read your mail. If you have 1-2 full second gaps, you _definitely_ have wrong timing settings on your RC-50 - _not_ a "latency" issue.
