hello all :-)!!! i have been experimenting with midi sync but still haven't successfully configured it. i wanted to check my facts with you since your last emails: - no matter what midi channel you are on from a device, all the channels will stay on the same midi-clock. that is to say, that, if my echoplex is the master clock, and it is transmitting midi data on midi channel 1. if my machine drum is set as its slave but receives midi data on midi channel 5 then it will still be on the echoplex's master clock even though the data is transmitting into another midi channel? - i am trying to get all my patterns to play in time but not have the machine drum trigger notes on the nord modular 1 that aren't in its original programmed sequence. - does anyone know you have a special input configured on your nord modular patches to make sure they receive incoming midi clock signals? I am not sure i fully understand the 'kbd" rec about NM1's from before. i have been able to make my machine drum a slave to my echoplex. but, i haven't been successful using the "midi thru" or otherwise on the machine drum to trigger the clock on my NM1 even though i have the nm1 midi clock set to external and i have the machine drum set to receive incominf sync messages. i have been doing alot of trial and error but haven't been successful :-( if you have any ideas, i would love your help, sorry for pesky tech questions!!! thanks for your help :-) --- Ben <benoitruelle@yahoo.fr> wrote: > Hello, > > It should be possible on the modular to de-activate > the KBD tracking. > Isn't there a KBD button on each OSC that do just > that? > > To bring this On Topic again. > Is anyone using the G2 as his looping device?
