I was going to chime in with the same response. No matter how you slice it, midi tempo sync is at best, a fallible way of synchronizing multiple processors, sequencers and drum machines. Some midi clock devices are more solid than others, problems eventually surface with drift, and of course one needs a midi patch bay with multiple outputs and good filtering, to make everything work smoothly. One of the liberating things about the looperlative is it does, all of the things you are asking for, with out all the head ache of using multiple loopers to achieve it. Save yourself time, money, hassle and cartage issues and get a Looperlative and a good midi foot controller. I use a behringer, it's cheap but works well, the Roland FC200 would be a better bet with more CC pedal ports, if your client likes to control functions like feedback, volume or record speed with expression pedals.
