Re: I seek help/most believe I am beyond (loop related)

Man, I wish you guys were in Connecticut. I have zero people around me that even know what Im talking about sometimes. Im working on a project right now thats a solo by default. I wish it were a duo or trio.
It's going to consist of an evening's worth of music. Set one will start out with your basic Acoustic gig, kinda happy-houresque. Some covers, some originals. Gradually adding live loops via Ableton and an Echoplex. As the first set goes on, more sounds are introduced. A bassline here, a synth pad there. Very much what you see everywhere these days. First set will blend into some downtempo electronic stuff on an ipod.
Second set will start much like the first set ended. But as the set goes on, even more sounds and textures will be introduced. This is going to be very much like what you hear on Sirius Channel 35. Downtempo electronica using effected guitar, prerecorded loops, software synths and samplers and vocals.
Ableton live via a FCB1010 and an Oxygen midi controller will be the main tools. Along with a Strat or a Taylor going through a Pod Live XT and an Echoplex.
Set 3 will again be a continuation of set 2. This will gradually give way to an actual laptop DJ set with occasional intruments thrown in.
This looks to be a very creative and lucrative venture that I hope to up and running by summer.
But like I said, I explain this people and thay look at me like im crazy
