Hehe...I missed this. I had an actual dealing like this with a company called Kalix in the early 90's when the ensoniq soundscape card was announced..then they balked on the idea and said they would sell the chips to other mfgs. These guys made all these promises then lamed with stories about creative labs suing them if they didn't rewrite the literature etc.. All the time Ensoniq knew they had bought no chips at all and were making promises. I grilled them good on this and they said something about having to keep quiet for fear of being black balled in the industry. Gee...I never knew the electronic music industry was run by mafia. hehe. Man.
