I think maybe part of why those products were developed was to bring looping to the masses, but also in a form that beginners can get into it,<<<< Yeah, but simple isn't the point - it's what the feature set they do have says about what looping is that pisses me off. The DL4 is a great looper - simple, fairly inexpensive and without any of the nonsense that Roland and Digitech have added, whilst ignoring the useful stuff.
