| Well actually he is right. That is freaking ripoff, and yet the price is much higher in Europe. I found one here in Italy for 220euro (USD 311.3) (!!!!)...Check it out yourself: http://www.mercatinomusicale.com/ann/ann.asp/IDA_674778/IDV_76/REF_Elenco/tech-21-midi-moose.htm
 It's unbelievable.
I am not sure it is more convenient to buy one on ebay, since it is 180USD and you have to add shipping (the thing is pretty heavy I suppose) and taxes. It'll probably be cheaper but not by much, I believe.

It happens all the time with American gear here. The most incredible thing was the e-bow: it is 140 (USD 198.1) euro in Italy while my girlfriend bought me one in New York City for just 80USD (EUR 56.54).

That is why everytime i surf the web and see American sites I start drooling. Too bad shipping and taxes spoil the fun most of the times - luckily, not always though . :)

260? Where did you get that price in USD?
Rippoff.com?  I got mine for $180. It's at this price all over the
internet.     Kris
   MIDI Moose
 handicap would be
  its price,
since it's expensive for what it does. no exp pedal.
 at least
here in europe... about 200 euros
 .. 260-280 USD.

 MIDI Moose. Small, battery
    powered, no programming necessary....just plug
 into your computer's MIDI
interface, open Mobius, go to the MIDI assignment
 section, check MIDI
Learn (or whatever Jeff calls it), and start pressing
 the buttons you
want for each function. I programmed my MIDI Moose with
 Mobius for street
    gigs in about 60 seconds.

 Hi,   What is
recommended as basic foot controller for mobius or
    other
midi-controllable loopers.  I assume the FCB, since its
    so popular.  Are
there other smaller-sized ones that are "plug
and play" - ie , could
 control Mobius with minimal "programming"
    ?
