Same here.  I was on vacation last week camping in Big Sur.  We drove up to Santa Cruz on Saturday (10/13) because I wanted to be sure to see Kevin Kissinger playing the theremin.  The door at 120 Pearl Alley was locked and the local music store clerk pointed to the poster in the window informing the world the fest would begin on 10/19. 

I felt pretty stupid.  So we went over to New Brighton Beach, grabbed a last-minute cancellation site and then walked down to Seacliff beach to view the Aptos fireworks that evening.  They were very creative but not as much as the LoopFest should be.
