FA101 is what I use ... below $500 (goes for $400 retail still I think.. probably $350 on ebay) 8 in, 8 out (10 if you use the optical) Can't think of a thing I don’t like about it .... great sound quality, no hiccups unless running several high end programs at once. Runs up to 24 bit, 192 kHz.
