This is what I found today: BOSS ANNOUNCES THE DD-7 12/03/2008 Boss announces the newest pedal in the best-selling DD-range. Building on the tried-and-tested features from its predecessors, the DD-7 considerably expands the creative potential with a number of practical and inspiring features. With up to 6.4 seconds of delay time, the DD-7 features a marked increase on its predecessor. In addition, a newly-developed Hold mode allows up to 40 seconds of input to be recorded for creating atmospheric "sound-on-sound" performances. The DD-7 is also equipped with two innovative new delay modes. Modulation Delay provides chorus-flavoured sounds, while Analogue Delay offers a modelled simulation of the classic Boss DM-2, beloved by guitarists everywhere for its characteristic warmth. For hands-free control, an external footswitch and expression pedal (sold separately) can be used. Tap tempo rates can be controlled from the external footswitch, while delay time, feedback, and effect level can be changed on the fly via an expression pedal. The DD-7's stereo output can create some amazing effects, such as spatial audio sweeps with true stereo panning. The stereo outputs can even be configured as separate dry and wet signal paths - handy for recording and live-performance control. Finally, the legendary Boss build quality and reliability that has seen sales exceed 10 million pedals globally comes as standard. DD-7 at a glance . Expanded delay time, up to 6.4 seconds .
