Have a look at the curtains external from Jeremy Bernstein. It will 
exactly do that... ;-)

Looking forward to what you'll come up with. All this stuff is what max 
is about...

If I'll ever make it to Boise, we can switch tools I process your sounds 
you process my sounds (which are your sounds processed...;-)
