Re: sooperlooper happiness

hello per!

it is large, i agree. i would like a "mini" version since 4 stacked sooperloopers take up a lot of room! i actually didn't open the GUI at all, just had it in the background. the SL GUI doesn't launch automatically when you open a Live set. i'm sure i can do it with a script, but didn't get around to that yet. as a result, i could not see a thing that was going on!

i did a combination of launching MIDI clips inside Live, and old fashioned foot control.

there was one "glitch" where SL didn't seem to receive MIDI commands when i first opened a set (i tend to perform 2 pieces using one Live set and might launch 4 or more sets per performance, using MIDI + Applescript). i had to manually click on "launch GUI". but once it was launched i closed it again because i didn't like it blocking my view of the audio channels (i like to catch if anything goes into the red).

i still need more practice executing perfect loops. the Repeaters are so forgiving! sigh...

my best from california, zoe

I thought I'd report that I performed 3 concerts in a row last night, using

Hooray!

Good to hear!

Are you using SL's GUI to keep track of things? (I'm finding it a bit

huge for my MacBook+Logic8).

Are you using many Live MIDI clips that send control events into SL?
