Re: What would loopers do without power?

i would leave music for some time and enroll in some kind of resistence to destroy all those in the establishment/government who drove us into this catatrophic situation... i've learnt that from computer games ;-)  ... then afterwards we all could waste energy as we do!.

cheers,

Subject: What would loopers do without power?

So, let's say hypothetically a major catastrophe occurred in the next 2-3 decades, and power became non-existent (unlikely) or highly scarce. For example, suppose we all had to rely on solar panels and wind power, and powering an amp and looper was a complete luxury and out of the question.

What would you do?

Second question: Has anyone created a solar powered system?  Just to make it simple, what would it take, and how much would it cost to make a solar powered system right now that would power my Roland Microcube and RC-2?  I think it would be fun to create such a system.

Or, does anyone have one of those stationary bicycles that is also a generator? Can you pedal fast enough to power these two electronic items? Imagine packing your bike around to play a gig. :)

Kris
