Hi Mark, Yes, this is the way ive been working with the LP1,assigning the function via "midi learn".Ive checked every bank, patch as you say and turned off note off and any message associated to control the EDP except for the cc message to use the expression pedal to control feedback on the EDP.This should not be a problem, since i have pedal 1 on the fcb1010 set globally specifically to control the EDP on a different midi channel than pedal 2 which controls feedback of the LP1 also set on a different midi channel. Also since i have the UnO software upgrade on the fcb1010 i use Ripwerx to see the whole programming clearly in every bank and patch and everything seems to be clean... Id hate to give up using any of this boxes because of this problem i love the EDP!
