Just to clarify, as far as I know Speed change is working fine,
it is Pitch change that has a few glitches.

Speed (or what mobius calls Rate Shift) is changing tempo
and pitch at the same time, like changing the speed
of a tape deck.

Pitch Shift is changing the pitch but keeping the tempo
the same.  It is a more complex algorithm (props to
SoundTouch by Olli Parvianinen) but it causes artifacts
if you change the pitch while a loop is playing.
