Re: MacBook buying advice?



For those that love MacOS (as I do) but would prefer to run on commodity hardware, check out http://www.hackintosh.org

But it's not for the faint of heart.

Agree with daddy Rick.

I went for the black Macbook (since i'm a heavy smoker!)
and I'm happy with it, but also consider it's overpriced.
The only reason was to have some OS X machine if i had to work on a mac based project. I installed XP under bootcamp and never use the mac side from there. One of the main reason is the freeware vsts that i'm enjoying so much, and the other, Mobius, which is about to be ported to mac as a plugin nowadays.
