As was pointed out about CD Baby, TuneCore ALSO does not do the actual printing ... that's done by another party entirely.

Not "strange" if you consider that manufacturing is not part of the CD
Baby business model. They offer digital and physical distribution, not
manufacturing. Their clients simply send them CDs to put up for sale,
home burned or printed at a manufactory. There are plenty of pressing
plants that D-I-Y indie musicians can turn to, if so inclined, before
sending the product to CD Baby.
