Slightly OT but timely for today...
Found this on Vimeo just now and though musically a bit more hip than loop, I found the editing, use of political content, pos theme and sense of time all kind of cool.

Soon I hope to post a pictoral video essay I shot during this year's Y2K that is hosted on this video site which has become a good find to me, thanks to Mark's earlier post re his Snow video. I'm awaiting a couple remaining permissions prior to making public.
Hopefully this evening does make history...
