Obviously, my opinion is biased, but the
Looperlative LP1 is well suited for this purpose. If you make use of
recording different instruments into different tracks, then you can use the
auxilliary outputs to send the different parts to your mixing board. Of
course, you could also control the independent track levels within the
LP1.
Like the EDP, you would have to build up the
different sections live.
