UltraLite-mk3 question

Hi,
I'm looking for a compact/portable firewire audio interface. In addition 
to the studio recording capabilities, I also want to use it as a 
standalone live mixer. The UltraLite-mk3 seems to meet my requirements but 
I do have a question:

- can you use the UltraLite as a standalone live mixer and indepently 
control your own monitor mix and send the main mix send to the FOH mixer? 
According to the specs, the outputs are balanced 1/4 jacks so that would 
spare me a DI.
