Apologies for joining this so late.
I use a audiotechnica lavelier type mic that I
custom mounted with velcro at the optimum position in the soundhole. I did it
exclusively because my bridge transducer was lousy at picking up percussion and
forget vocals through the soundhole. I eq the output and when playing live
it actually sounds like an acoustic, but it took alot of experimenting and
optimization to get the best location and eq curve.
It's cool for percussion, playing and singing in
the soundhole for looping vocals.
