If you feel that you "want more info" I would say that you will
probably be able to build almost anything looper-wise that you might
want.  Even the old, pre Max-in-Live, version of Ableton Live was very
open. I used it a lot until four years ago (when I got hold of a PC to
run Mobius) but I did not like that I always had to run Live as the
sync master. At the Zürich Loopfest for example I ran my EDP synced to
Live 5 and combining wobbly Augustus Loop (mashed by MIDI loops in
Live, same theory I migrated to Mobius by scripting) stuff with the
more structured EDP looping. Not long a go, on a rainy day, I tested
just for fun to build most of the classic EDP functions in Live 7 for
Augustus Loop, by routing the signal around and setting up triggable
MIDI loops with the data that controlled the loopers. And now, with
Max-in-Live, you get even more control plus first-loop-tempo
capability. Do you still "want more info"? ;-))
