Strange. I play a file and after a few seconds it
mutes itself. I'll try downloading instead. I have been using
box.net for a few years. It is a bit expensive, but I have 15gig of space. Plus
it has a lot of other features, like collaboration, streaming your MP3s from a
folder (no download required), sharing individual sharable or playable files,
links to facebook, etc.

Jeff and anyone else who tries, I didn't realize it was that painful as
I've used this before but it's a bit to go through so I just discovered how
I can make them public better for non-DBer's so here you go. These
should work...

Jeff and others I believe you have to create an account
first on GetDropBox. It's a great free within 2 gig usage service
for file transfer and synchronization between say their server (your
account) and your primary/secondary computers. Jeff thanks in
advance for giving a spin...

Some you possibly joined me in participating in the
annual February RPM Challenge (www.rpmchallenge.com). For those not
acquainted with the world wide web event, it is you might say a
personal/artistic sort of directive or inspiration hosted by the Wire magazine and
several others, that challenges musicians to create and release a CD
of their music entirely done in the month of February. This is
my 3rd year and 4th CD (in addition to my solo CD, Daryl [Shawn] and
I did our 2nd Chinapainting CD Trick of Amethyst for the 2007 RPM event) to
produce through this event. My 2009 RPM CD is titled Vertical
and I'm posting it here for download.
For Vertical I used fretless guitar, oud, violin, voice and I'm
proud to say for this list's interest, looping technology (EHX
2880). 6 of the 18 trax are heavily looped.
The link which is a ZIP bundle includes the trax, cover,
insert, tray and label graphics.
I welcome your comments should you desire.
Thanks for listening and again congratulations to all who
played this year.
Jim
