Hi Michael,
That's funny...I used to have a Nord Modular synth in the past, and I've
programmed several patches which created random patterns and background
sounds. And now that I've moved to a laptop setup I was thinking to add
"automatic" or "random" components in Bidule and sync these with the midi
clock. Perhaps a midi synced slicer effect and a volume pedal to fade the
rhythmns in and out would be interesting to. But I don't kow about Vsti's
who can sync to audio and generate rhythmic elements. I bet they use this
kind of technology in the DJ-world.
