Mainstage is one of the applications that come with the Logic Studio
package. Others are Logic, Waveburner (Redbook CD mastering), Apple
Loop Utility (creating Apple Loops with correct tags for instrument,
mood, tempo, key etc), QuickTime Pro and Compressor. Maybe Compressor
has a new name now, I haven't checked lately... it's a converter
between different file format compressions used in multimedia by
musicians.
