Re: OT: Wristcutters

Miko, -this is unrelated to the brilliant Mr. Waits, but... ummm... since I know a young woman who I just found out is cutting her wrists and has in fact unsuccessfully attempted suicide, and there even appears to be a mini-epidemic of it at her high school, it's a bit shocking to me to see what looks like a comedy named Wristcutters. Is this film popular among teenagers? If I saw it, would I learn anything (aside from whatever entertainment is going on here) about motivation or relating to this scary way of thinking?

Way off topic, but I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, "Wristcutters, A
Love Story".  Tom Waits plays a fairly prominent role and there's a
lot of fun music throughout. (trying not to say too much here).  I
apologize if this has already been beaten and flogged previously.
