vocal synthesis and processing

hey,

i have received a new commission for a new major thriller movie. i will be doing lots of sound processing, sound design, along with traditional composing. the name of the movie is "voice". and the main sound design will based on this recorded voice.

i was wondering which softwares and hardwares are especially good for vocal synthesis and processing. should i use the kyma system? or would metasynth, soundhack, csound, msp, audiomulch be enough?

thanks and best.
