OT: Resources on The Art of Reverb

Hi, I'm Rodney ... this is my first time posting to this list ...

I'm kind of new to the world of music creation.

I have a Lexicon PCM 81 effects processor which at some
point will use for it's various effects, but for now want to explore
it's reverb abilities at a deep level.

I was wondering if any one can point to web sites or other
resources regarding reverb (theory and practical) and how
various parameters can be altered to create different spacial
effects (long tunnels and giant caves, for example).  I'm wanting
to gain a deeper understanding so I can create and fine tune
my own spaces.
