Before you spend your money, do take note of the screen resolution:
it's roughly 800x400, which is pretty much unusable on anything
smaller than a 9" screen...that means Logic, Live, Garage Band are NOT
going to display anywhere near "properly" if you want to use it in a
"live" setting ... FRO's experience may indicate a better solution:
look for a used unit on Ebay that will give you the screen real estate
you need.
The folks who created the hack for the Dell Mini 9 to run Mac OS X
have a script that will readjust your screen resolution to make
software like Garage Band usable, but only barely ... it's a trade-off
of portability, price, and real estate.
Sorry to be harshing your mellow, but there are a TON of compromises
to be made doing this; I'm still trying to sort out a working solution
for using a pair of netbooks for live looping even now ...
