Thanks for the feedback, people.

In the next weeks, I'll post new videos from the Florence Loopfest, that are almost ready.

 

I've also appreciated Milco's work, who became a good friend of mine immediately when we meet in Zurich in 2005, and who came in Rome *just* for the loopfest from the very north Italy, driving for hours and hours.... 

What I enjoined in that work is that music, animation and poetry have a unique flux, they are well combined together and create a cool, intimate and immersive atmosphere.

A new loopfest ? I'd like, but not in 2010, I'm afraid...

Except for small events ....and easy to realize. Any ideas ?

Last year I've been trapped in the glitch sound; that kind of Sakamoto-Alva Noto work, if you know their work.

I've found interesting to... play a clean piano sound and then have it glitched after looped. Here you can listen 3 loops going on with different glitched tempi (in 2 of them I was looping with feedback variations).

The result - in my opinion - is like a piano that sounds in the middle of a rain of small piano notes and fragmented melodies...
