I like the "silent" aspect of this! Last night I took apart the Pok and lubed the switch mechanisms with tri-flow. It helped, but those things are still loud.

Should be possible to build cheaper than a Kbow...;-)
On the other hand you could still use normal footswitches and have the visual feedback with a Launchpad or Monome...
